Sean Taylor Shot

Just got this from WTOP. So are we surprised?

WTOP Story

Me, yes, to some degree. It seemed that after his little incident some time ago that he was a changed man. But then again, Pacman Jones says he's a changed man.

All kidding aside, I hope he has a speedy recovery.

First Blatche of the Wizards was shot in the chest in an attempted car jacking a couple of years ago and now this.

Let's hope Taylor pulls through.

Yes, I'm one of those geeks who has a personalized jersey and I wear it to the 'Skins games. Interestingly enough though, the one non-personalized 'Skins jersey I currently own is that of Taylor. To show my support, I'll be sporting it for the remaining games of the season.

I hope his condition continues to improve.

Q - that is so cool. If I had a Taylor jersey, I'd join you in that effort. We should set aside his history as he is a human being. He deserves our support since he is a victim.

He's gone. What a tragedy to have died so young and so needlessly.

Couldn't have said it better - Stu. It's just so awful.

I don't remember the exact words, but on PTI on Monday (after hearing Taylor was shot but before he died) Mike Wilbon said he wasn't all that surprised at the shooting, partly because of Taylor's past. I don't care what anyone's past history is: no one deserved the fate suffered by Sean Taylor.
