Mock Draft: Baltimore Ravens
To continue our own mock draft, rotating the picks among the bloggers the Baltimore Ravens are on the clock now with the 8th Pick in the draft.
8th Pick: Ryan Clady, OT Boise St.
Many good players are available for the Ravens to draft. Rivers at LB, McKelvin at CB, and Clady at OT besides the many options at wr. Baltimore could obviously use some help at wide receiver to spread the ball and get more vertical. This year's group of receivers lacks the elite top tier as in years past, but does provide some solid choices.
Rivers and McKelvin would certainly aid the Ravens defense, especially in pass coverage. With Ogden getting older and Gaither still getting acclimated to the NFL responsibilities at tackle, help along the offensive line would be well served to provide depth and bolster a line in accomplishing a strong running game that leads to a strong passing game with ample time to pass as long as a balanced mix between run and pass exits. Adding Clady to the Ravens won't be the glamorous pick, but will provide great strength to the offensive line and bode well for the future care taker at QB and McGahee.
With the Ravens taking Ryan Clady, the Bengals are now on the clock for the 9th pick in the draft.
