Just Leave the Man Alone
Will Steve Bartman ever be left alone? Through a friend, he has rejected a paid appearance at a sports memorabilia convention.
With the leaders of Major League Baseball standing as they are now, I'm rooting for the Cubs. That way we can all finally leave Bartman alone.

I'd agree with you. When I first heard the news I thought the same thing. At least Bartman is in a financial position to say no. By taking the money it would only have brought out the worst in people as he probably would have been the recipient of tirades and hate.
