You might be reading this and checking the calendar. It's early September, what's the reason for hockey news. Well, this the very first time, and possibly the last time I'll discuss women's hockey. Bulgaria lost 82-0 in European Olympic pre-qualifying to Slovakia. Even worse, they were outshot 139-0. That's kinda impressive...their goalie(s) stopped 47 shots. Some NHL teams would take that. Well, I guess not the 82 that got by.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Bulgarians will not qualify.
