This is of course, the question on everyone's mind. Over the past seasons, Suisham has had his up days and his down days. It seems the Redskins have not had a stable kicker since Chip Lohmiller? Suisham is doubly painful as his field goals are iffy and does not have the strength to send kickoffs into the endzone. My fill of Suisham ended at least 2 seasons ago and I still can not believe he is on the team. I understand there is the thought that there is no one better available, which I disagree, but sometimes cutting a player proves a point. So we have this poll. It will end at 4 PM next Sunday, right before the next Redskins game, or when Suisham gets cut, whichever comes first.
Should Suisham Stay or Go?

It's interesting to note that the kicking game has been an onging issues for years. Suisham's failures have only really been highlighted when the team has been in a run for the playoffs or tight games or with the field goal attempt determining the outcome of the game.
Unfortunately for Suisham, the time has come for his to step out of the shadows. The team has performed better over the last few weeks on offense and has placed him in the position to be noticed. He's been running under the radar with a poor Redskins history kicking under pressure as the team has been on such a losing stretch barely breaking the 20 point barrier for much of the season.
Kickers, punters, and kick returners are usually the fisrt and easiest positions to replace on losing teams. Which is odd when you compare his performance coupled with the Redskins record over the years during his tenure and continuing to make the roster. Are there other positions that need to be addressed - absolutetly, but this is an easy position to churn.
There is nothing unfortunate for Suisham except that it's unfortunate that he was on the team so long. Yes, kickers, punters and returners are highlighted, but that's kind of the point. Anyone who thinks he was released because of Sunday is correct, but only because of his past inconsistency. If this was his only transgression over the years, he'd still be here. But just go back 2 games earlier in Dallas. There are numerous examples.
