BMT is a life-long Washingtonian and proud Maryland Terrapin. As a small child, he took a bet from a friend and won $5 when the Redskins won the Superbowl. Continuing his Redskins fandom, he actually bought season tickets for 2 straight seasons during the Norv Turner error era. Repeat, Norv Turner. He has owned or currently owns, Redskins, Nationals, Orioles, Capitals, and Maryland Men's Basketball tickets. Accountant and consultant by day, sports fan by night, he discusses politics and other things at Big Money Tony.

Some Favorite Redskins Moments:

• So many to choose from but naturally Super Bowls XVII, XXII, & XXVI, but who can forget the NFC Championship victory over Dallas at RFK with Dexter Manley knocking out Danny White and Darryl Grant's TD in the game.
• How about the Redskins corralling Eric Dickerson in a 51-7 drubbing of the Rams on the way to the Super Bowl?
• Darrell Green's punt return for a TD vs. da Bears in the playoffs to make it to SB 22.
• Being kicked out of the living room when the Skins were down 10-0 early to Elway and saying there's no way they can keep this up..the Skins are too big up front...that they'll come back...and then watch the greatest scoring quarter in Super Bowl History.

Some Favorite Capitals Moments:

• Obviously the Stanley Cup Finals run in 1998 with the Joe Juneau goal to spring the Caps into the Finals.
• Dale Hunter's game winning OT goal in the playoffs vs. Philly.
• Little Kelly Miller vs. gigantic Samuelson. The fight began near one corner and after Samuelson pushed and skated away taking punches along the way, the fight ended at the opposite end of the ice length wise until eventually Samuelson fell to the fetal position to give up.
• Watching the Caps come back from behind vs. Ottawa at home after being down four goals early to win 6-5 (2000-2001 Season).

Favorite Terrapins Moments:

• Watching Joe Smith and the Terps show up Georgetown at US Airways arena in a pivotal victory in the program.
• Watching the first two rounds of the Championship Winning NCAA Tournament in Washington DC as the Terps dismissed Sienna & Wisconsin.

Favorite Nationals Moments:

• Watching the home opener at Nationals Park with my folks on TV as Ryan Zimmerman notched a walk off game winning home run. It was a great father son moment.

I am a displaced Detroiter studying Print Journalism at American University.

Detroit teams are like a life long bad relationship, you are always there for them but they are rarely there for you. That said, I still watch every Tigers game and proudly, well somewhat proudly, wear the Lions jersey every Sunday. I can always look forward to the Red Wings yearly run at the Stanley Cup though, and it seems makes everything better.

When not watching whatever game I can find on TV: I am the Sports Editor at the Eagle, American University's Student Newspaper, and write for OnFrozenBlog, DC's haven for the hockey malnourished.
